Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
1. Data controller
The controller responsible for the personal data collected through this website is the owner of Manitas Costa del Sol (full legal name and tax ID pending), reachable via the WhatsApp and Instagram listed on this site.
2. What data we collect
This website has no contact forms and does not automatically collect personal data. The only processing of personal data happens when you choose to contact us voluntarily via WhatsApp or Instagram, sharing your phone number or username, your name (if you provide it), and the content of your message.
3. Purpose of processing
The data you provide is used exclusively to respond to your enquiry or quote request, and to manage any resulting business relationship.
4. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing is your consent, given unambiguously when you voluntarily start a conversation via WhatsApp or Instagram (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR).
5. Data retention
Data will be kept for as long as the business relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods legally required to address any liabilities.
6. Recipients and data processors
Conversations held over WhatsApp and Instagram are processed through Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.'s platforms, under their own privacy policies. We recommend reading WhatsApp's privacy policy and Instagram's data policy.
This website is hosted on Netlify, Inc. (United States), which may log standard technical access data (IP address, browser) as part of any web hosting service, without any profiling purpose.
7. International transfers
Because communication happens over WhatsApp and Instagram, your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards those platforms provide (European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses).
8. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to us on WhatsApp or Instagram. If you believe your rights have not been properly addressed, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy to reflect legal changes or updates to the website. We recommend reviewing it from time to time.
